The Storage Unit
Adam entered into his phone the coordinates that his father had provided. They took him to a storage facility close to his birthplace. Adam sighed as he considered the lengthy travel that lay ahead. With the journal and key in hand, he turned around and drove to the unit. He eventually reached the coordinated area, but something wasn’t quite right. Adam understood, as he stood in front of a series of red storage garages, that his father had overlooked one very important aspect.
Which One?
The storage unit’s number was not noted by his father! When Adam asked the building manager which apartment his father had bought, the manager said that there wasn’t one with that name. Adam, frustrated, considered putting the entire experience behind him. He stewed for a minute, but then his curiosity overcame him and he tried something else. If his father was in danger, there could only be one explanation for why he would not have registered the unit in his own name.
