Underestimated
He did not pull his gaze away from the young woman as she walked away with an air of superiority. She was well aware of what she was doing. She believed that an elderly man such as Pat would not be able to stand up for himself because of his lack of strength. He was underappreciated by her. She walked on to service other tables, trying not to notice Pat’s angry gaze following her as she went about her business. This was something that he could not allow her to get away with because she had no respect for her elders.

As she went away with an attitude, his eyes did not leave the young woman but continued to follow her. Clearly, she was aware of what she was doing. She was of the opinion that an elderly guy such as Pat would not possess the strength to advocate for himself due to his age. She had a misunderstanding about him. Pretending not to notice Pat’s angry gaze following her, she moved on to serving other tables and continued her work. It was impossible for him to allow her to get away with breaking the rules since she had no regard for her elders.
