There was a sense of disbelief in the elderly man. Could they really ask him to pay such a large sum of money? The fact that he was in such a precarious situation made it difficult to deny the fact that he was an elderly guy. At this point in time, Pat was in a horrible mental state, and it would be inappropriate to provoke him. In the most recent few months, he had not been doing well, and he was on the verge of disintegrating without a single push.

As a result of the encounter, Pat’s recollections of the terrible things he had done to individuals during his time in the military were being brought back to the surface. It turned out that the waitress was mistreating the incorrect man. A turn of events that was both unexpected and terrible would not have occurred if she had simply allowed him to act in accordance with his own whims. After a while, Pat’s anger mounted. He was on the verge of losing his temper, and he was aware that it would not be a pretty sight if he did go through with it.
