Unfortunately, these days, elementary school students are subjected to the same rules as their older peers. No student is too young to be considered a criminal. This attitude has caused plenty of rage in a lot of teachers and parents. But, they can’t help but wonder, “Will the accusation cause my children to lose their innocence?”

A Necessity
While lawmakers and security guards might not be able to answer the question of innocence, one this is certain: sometimes, it’s necessary. Most kids wouldn’t bring banned items to harm their classmates, but they can still hurt them. Whether it be a sharp object, a product someone’s allergic to, or someone being clumsy.
