A Place Called Silwan
Do you want to learn about other biblical discoveries? For one thing, there’s Silwan. It’s a neighborhood in Jerusalem’s Old City. In 2004, sewage workers accidently uncovered a relic of ancient history while working in a potato field. They discovered a treasure trove that had not been investigated in a very long time.

Silwan was once more than just a suburb outside of Jerusalem. For this one, we’ll have to go all the way back to 516 B.C. It was a religiously active community at the time. However, there was more to it than its location on the map.
