Penn Jillette – 100 lb.
Penn Jillette is a successful magician, but a heart blockage nearly ended his career and life a few years ago. His large weight was a factor, but he couldn’t just suddenly evaporate the extra pounds. As a result, he began exercising more, adhering to the Potato Diet, and fasting for 23 hours per day. All of his efforts resulted in Penn losing more than 100 pounds, and he now appears much happier and healthier. Penn & Teller’s taller half continues to appear on the TV show “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” in 2021, six years after the show initially aired in 2015.
Sara Rue – 50 lb.
Sara Rue rose to prominence with productions such as “Less Than Perfect,” “The Ring,” and “Rules of Engagement,” to mention a few. In 2010, the “Shedding for the Wedding” host joined the Jenny Craig program and lost 50 pounds with a maintenance plan that included four days per week of cardio workouts and a 1,700-calorie diet. The technique did wonders for the “Pearl Harbor” actress, who was able to wear a bikini for the first time in her life following her makeover. Rue has also been active subsequently, appearing in the TV show “B Positive” from 2020 to 2021.
