Disney is known for drawing inspiration from a variety of sources, and “Aladdin” was no exception. Animators stated that they utilized Cruise’s face as a model for Aladdin’s primary character. Given Aladdin’s dynamic, action-loving personality, it was a natural option to model him after Cruise.

Cruise has demonstrated an adventurous attitude in his work, through his choices, and in his personal life. In 1994, motivated by his experiences while filming “Top Gun,” he obtained his pilot’s license. Surprisingly, he holds both a commercial and a private license and even flies his own private jets.
