Richard
Richard had recently begun his tenure at the dealership and couldn’t help but empathize with the elderly gentleman. He found it hard to align himself with the other salespeople who identified as predators. Amidst the laughter, Richard respectfully pleaded for them to grant Robert the opportunity to examine the car. After all, Robert was a valued customer, no different from anyone else. Unfortunately, he was met with dismissive remarks branding him as naive and new to the field.
Waste Of Time
Robert remained motionless by the car’s door. He insisted on being allowed to at least peek inside before leaving. The shady salesman gave up, “Look, this car is $200,000. I don’t see how you’d be able to afford it. I don’t want you to waste my time when a real customer could walk through the door.”
