But time does not wait for anyone, and Hailey had had enough. Despite his entreaties, she ended her relationship with Chase. It was agonizing, but it was necessary. Her three sisters came to comfort her, each taking a week off from their separate careers to assist her in readjusting to reality. None of them realized Chase had his sights set on them and was trying to flip their lives upside down.

He was first smitten by her, then interested by how her intellect operated. He’d fallen irrevocably in love with her by the end and couldn’t wait to retire from his job so he could offer her everything she’d ever desired. You can understand his anguish when she decided to quit their relationship.
