Her 64-year career includes jobs like hosting Today, ABC Evening News, 20/20, and The View, and she has been active as a reporter for ABC new over a decade after retiring. Walters didn’t just anchor shows either; she also created an annual special called Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People. She is a successful author whose autobiography was a best-seller in 2008. Walters also famously interview the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and her last interview was with Donald Trump in 2015, before his presidential campaign.

Barbara Walters was the host of various television shows, including ABC’s 20/20, The View, and the ABC Evening News. She received the pleasure of being inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1989. Walters established precedent as the first American woman to co-anchor a midnight news broadcast when she joined forces with Harry Reasoner for the ABC Evening News. Before her official retirement in 2014, Walters periodically contributed to ABC’s special programming and the investigative magazine programme 20/20. But, until 2016, she also gave ABC News interviews on the side.
