There was a noticeable strain on the deck. Like every other pilot, Violet awaited the takeoff instructions. It was horrifying for her to realize what was heading at her from the sky. She prayed her assumption was correct because if it wasn’t, this may be her last flight. She was still unsure about Greg’s whereabouts. Would this be her last act?

The quiet on board the S.S. The aurora was almost unbearable. The crew members looked at one other uneasily, their eyes constantly straying to the large windows. There, in the great expanse of the sky, rose a mysterious object.
Everything had come to a stop due to its unexpected presence. The conversations dwindled. The growing anxiety was heightened by the warning beeps of the instruments. However, no one dared to express what they were all contemplating.
