Gwyneth Paltrow’s announcement of her daughter’s name with Coldplay musician Chris Martin in 2004 was met with some mockery from the public. Apple Martin, on the other hand, has grown up to be more or less normal, studying dance and aspiring to be a performer. However, Gwyneth has expressed reservations about her daughter’s ambitions in showbiz, telling Glamour in 2016: “When you think about it from a pragmatic point of view, it’s like, ‘OK, how are you gonna pay your mortgage?’”
