Brooklyn really enjoyed meeting the garbage man, but this was just the beginning of their friendship. One week later, on a Thursday morning, she did her routine of waving to him as he drove through her neighborhood. Dopson waved as he drove by the field where Brooklyn and Traci would often spend their days. He noticed that they were waving from their yard and decided to stop by, but when he neared the girls noticed a large box behind him. With a huge smile on her face, Dopson handed the box to Brooklyn. It was a belated birthday present for the little girl!
