Paul Reubens
Pee-wee During the 1980s, Herman became instantly recognizable in the weirdest of ways. He saw a significant shift in public image in 1991, when he was arrested for indecent exposure while attending an adult movie theater. As a result, Pee-wee toys were taken from store shelves across the country, and Reubens disappeared completely from the public spotlight for the remainder of the 1990s. Following that, it would be another ten years before Reubens risked reprising his role as Pee-wee. He did it effectively in 2016, appearing in the critically praised Netflix film Pee-Big wee’s Holiday. The good reception to his return has been a little consolation for a man who has spent the majority of his work career in hiding as a result of a series of extremely poor mistakes.

Jeffrey Jones
For his role as the principal in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Jeffrey Jones is perhaps best known to filmgoers. When it was revealed that he was in possession of images that would land him on the registry and as far away from the limelight as possible, his career came crashing down. He did manage to gain some respectable screen time on HBO’s Deadwood for a couple of seasons. Nonetheless, in 2010, several years after quitting that show, he found himself in legal hot water again after failing to comply with the conditions of his agreement with the register.
