The Storage Unit Manager
Adam was not aware that the manager of the storage unit was looking over his shoulder. When the manager saw what was inside the bundle of papers, his eyes grew wide. He tried not to get too close to Adam and pretended not to care what the media stated. Closing his fingers over his phone, he reached inside his pocket. Should he go back and lock Adam inside the apartment? Adam’s head loomed large in front of him as he considered his options. This had finally been found after all these years.

“Can You Believe This?”
Gazing at his father’s documents and pictures, Adam was in disbelief. He become more determined. He could not allow his father’s labors to go unnoticed. Everyone was included in the evidence. The Sheriff, deputies, council members, women, and more. What was happening in this town? Adam was astounded by what he saw when he read on. His hometown had been hiding bribes given to public servants. Rule-bending, bribery for government contracts, and other things. Financial data had even been made available to Adam’s father. Adam heard footsteps behind him shuffling. He turned and spotted the manager of the storage unit.
