Matcha Tea

Matcha tea is a type of green tea, that has its origins in China. It is made of the dried Camellia Sinensis plant leaves, that are made into a fine powder. The green tea is known to have many health benefits, among which it can reduce the risk of high blood pressure and heart attacks. Furthermore, it is also associated with lowering the risk of diabetes 2 and helps you to lose weight. Here is how you prepare the little energy drink. Take a cup and put 1-2 tablespoons of matcha powder in. Add hot (preferably not boiling) water to it and stir until the powder is mixed well with the water. Once everything is mixed well, add 1 cup of milk or alternatives to it. And that’s it. Your healthy and natural energy drink is ready.

Golden Milk

Golden Milk is a delicious and caffeine-free alternative to coffee. The Golden milk is a mixture of milk and spices such as turmeric, ginger or cinnamon which are all known for their powerful benefits. Most of them not only higher your energy levels, but also have anti-inflammatory benefits. All you need for this tasty drink is 1 cup of milk (or a dairy-free alternative) 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric. All you have to do is mix all the ingredients over a low flame, stir them well and after a few minutes you are already good to go!

Chai Tea

You probably already heard about a beverage called “Chai Tea”. Chai tea is a sort of black tea, which is made out of the “Camellia Sinensis” plant just as many green tea sorts. Black tea also contains caffeine (although in lower amounts than coffee) and can help you to get an energy kick and stay focused for a longer amount of time. Research also shows, that it might reduce risks; of heart diseases and high blood pressure. You can find chai teas already ready in the shops, but its also very easy to make them from scratch. All you need for it are cardamon seed (4), black peppercorns (2), fresh ginger and a cinnamon stick. Now just cut the ginger in slices and put them in a saucepan with 1 cup of water and the cinnamon stick. Let the mixture boil for a few minutes and add black tea bags to id. Let it boil for another 10 minutes. Stir it well and the tea is ready to be served. If you want to make the famous chai latte out of a chai tea, simply add a cup of milk (or a non-dairy alternative) to it.
